Liste des décorés du 12 mars 2021…L’avocat Philippe Sands, le Speaker Sooroojdev Phokeer et l’ambassadeur Jagdish Koonjul honorés…



Le bureau du Premier ministre a rendu publique la liste des décorés à l’occasion du 12 mars 2021.  Parmi l’on retrouve l’avocat franco-britannique Philippe Sands QC qui représente l’intérêt du pays sur le dossier Chagos devant les différentes cours de justice mondiale. Il est élevé au rang de Grand Commander of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (GCSK). Tout comme le Speaker, Sooroojdev Phokeer et l’ambassadeur Jagdish Koonjul basé aux Nations Unies. Parmi les autres décorés notons, le Dr Bruno Cheong mort en soignant les patients du Covid-19 l’année dernière, la policière Dimple Raghoo pour sa bravoure lors d’une opération contre la mafia de la drogue et Géraldine Aliphon, travailleuse sociale qui a dédié sa vie au combat de l’autisme.
