Le Non-Citizens Property Restriction Amendment Bill voté au Parlement
Le Non-Citizens Property Restriction Amendment Bill a été voté sans amendements à l’Assemblée nationale le mardi 27 avril dans l’après-midi. Le Premier ministre Pravind Jugnauth a expliqué dans son ‘summing up’ qu’il n’y a actuellement aucune transparence dans la vente de biens immobiliers.
Ce matin, le chef du gouvernement a présenté ce projet de loi et soutenu que les amendements sont nécessaires pour éviter qu’un étranger utilise une ‘foundation’ pour investir dans l’immobilier à Maurice.
