Courtesy call from Ms Stephanie Casey of Transparency International Ireland

Ms Stephanie Casey, Integrity at Work Programme Manager of Transparency International Ireland, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Maneesh Gobin, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, today. She was accompanied by Mr Rajen Bablee, Executive Director of Transparency Mauritius. Among issues discussed were whistleblowing and “protected disclosures” and the unique experience of the Republic of Ireland’s Protected Disclosures Act.

Avenues for closer collaboration between Transparency International Ireland and Transparency Mauritius were explored in the light of shared experiences in initiatives concerning transparency and accountability mechanisms.

Integrity at Work (IAW) is a multi-stakeholder, not-for-profit initiative launched in 2016 for organizations in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Through training, best practice exchange, online resources, specialist advice and guidance, IAW promotes supportive environments for anyone reporting genuine concerns of wrongdoing.
