Affaire Roche-Noires: Le DPP ne fera pas d’appel au jugement

Dans un communiqué émis hier, le bureau du Directeur des poursuites publiques a signifié sa décision de ne pas faire appel contre le jugement d’acquittement de Navin Ramgoolam dans l’affaire Roche Noires.

Voici un extrait du communiqué : “ After consideration of the Ruling and the reasons given by the Court to dismiss the case against all 3 accused parties, the ODPP has come to the conclusion that there is no reasonable prospect of a successful appeal in this matter.”

Le Bureau du DPP a informé le Commissaire de police qu’il ne devrait plus y avoir d’action dans cette affaire.
