43 race meetings for 2020?…

The Mauritius Turf Club has submitted a provisional calendar for the 2020 Racing Season to the Gambling Regulatory Authority. A total of 43 race meetings, including 6 weekends of Racing, is included and the season is expected to start on March 21st 2020 with the tenure of the Duchess of York Cup.

The International Jockeys’ Weekend – if maintained, will be held during the weekend of December 5th and 6th 2020.

The other Classic races are scheduled as follows: The Barbe Cup (Sunday July 5th); The Maiden Cup (Sunday 6th September); The Duke Of York Cup (Saturday 31st October).
