SUSPENSION FOR S.BUSSUNT; R.JOORAWON FINED…
Following inquiries by the Racing Stewards this morning in relation to last Saturday’s Swan – Duke Of York Cup meeting, Sunil Bussunt and Rye Joorawon were both sanctioned.
Sunil Bussunt was suspended for one race meeting following his ride on Learning To Fly (race 3). He fell foul under MTC Rule 160 A (f) in that he carelessly allowed his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of The Riddler.
Rye Joorawon was fined Rs 15,000 under MTC Rule 160 A (j) in that he failed to ride Lemon Drop Shot (race 6) to the finish.
