Over 150 gallops and 3 barrier trials on the cards…
As expected, it is very busy this morning with more than 150 horses working out on the sand track
under clear skies. Also on the menu this morning are three Barrier Trials on the turf track.
In the first Barrier Trial, Big Voice Jack does just enough to come out on top, ahead of newcomers
Magnum P I and Prince Alf, who both catch the eye with their acceleration in the final straight.
Siege Ram is the winner in the second Barrier Trial, while Tiger’s Rock produces a bullet-like finish to
take 2nd, despite getting away very slowly. Believeinthefuture finishes 3rd.
Proficient takes the honours in the final Barrier Trial, ahead of Noble Trip and Chestnut Cove.
Captain Flynt does a gallop for the first time since he was recently taken on by Preetam Daby. He is
ridden by Michel Platini de Oliveira.
Once again, Karoo Lark and Goethe work together and this time round, it is the latter that exerts his
authority when passing the winning post. Their illustrious stable mates Holy Warrior and Favour
have already started their preparations for the Maiden Cup, with both horses doing two laps on the
sand track.
Fitted with the drop noseband, French Rebel works out over 800 metres. He shows a strong turn of
foot when going uphill.
Other horses that work well this morning include Patrol Officer, Triple Fate Line, Chosen Way,
Opague, Crimson God, Charlie Squadron and Shesh Besh.
