With such brilliant results, Loubna ticks all the boxes of the MCB Foundation Act.

She participated in projects to mark the annual World Book Day, planting campaigns, and fund-raising activities for needy students, orphans, and the elderly in charitable institutions. Loubna also has a strong sense of loyalty towards the school, epitomized by her contribution to National Day Celebrations, Prize Giving Ceremonies, and Music days. She represented the QEC in various competitions and events at the International level, such as the Duke of Edinburgh International Award. She was also a regular participant in track and field events at the College’s annual sports day.

We are fully aware that the education sector has undergone several changes with the pandemic. Students, their families, and teachers have indeed had to face quite challenging times. In this respect, MCB Group’s contribution to the field of education makes even more sense. Our commitment and contribution to education are in line with “Success Beyond Numbers”, our motto and sustainable development program. On top of the MCB Foundation Scholarship, we are also committed to continue the MCB Rodrigues Scholarship, the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM) Young Investor Award, and the 4-min science program, co-hosted with the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre. We firmly believe that such initiatives are quintessential of how we seek to make a telling difference in the educational field.

Dear Loubna, you will soon start a four-year integrated Masters in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics at the University of Warwick, in the United Kingdom. I am strongly backing you to succeed in your endeavors. I am confident you will continue to shine brilliantly and be a role model for the youth of Mauritius.
