Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sends Liverpool fans into meltdown with role in Dubai training
The 25-year-old midfielder has been out for nearly a year after suffering a multiple ligament injury.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took part in first team training on Monday as Liverpool had their first session in Dubai.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have jetted out to the United Arab Emirates for some warm weather training with their next fixture, against Leicester City, not for another nine days.
The Ox, 25, has been out since April last year, when he sustained a multiple ligament knee injury against Roma in the Champions League semi-finals.
At first, it was feared he may not feature for Liverpool at all this season – but Alex Oxlade–Chamberlain’s recovery process has been promising.
Klopp recently confirmed that the Reds star should be fit to return to action before their 2018/19 campaign finishes.
