COVID-19…waiving the fees payable to Local Authorities …

In the context of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Government has decided to waive the fees payable to Local Authorities by all stall holders operating in markets and market fairs around the island during the curfew period as part of its commitment to mitigate the adverse financial impact of the lockdown. The attention of all those who have already paid the fees is being drawn that the said amount will be deducted in the next instalment due. For additional information on this measure, the stall holders may wish to contact their respective Municipality/District Council.
