Drogue : La libération conditionnelle refusée à Kenzo Eshan Manique…
La magistrate A. Sungkur Daby, siégeant à la Bail & Remand Court, a rejeté la demande de libération sous caution de Kenzo Eshan Manique. Ce dernier répond provisoirement de trois charges, à savoir (1) possession of heroin for the purpose of distribution with an averment of trafficking, (2) possession of synthetic cannabisnoids for the purpose of distribution et (3) possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution. La magistrate Sungkur Daby a retenu l’objection de la police et a expliqué que, du fait qu’il y a une prolifération de la drogue à Maurice, il y a nécessité de protéger le public contre tous ceux qui s’adonnent aux activités de la drogue.
